Biography

Carlo Emanuele is a partner of Pavia e Ansaldo and works out of the Milan office. He advises national and international corporations on corporate and M&A matters, including due diligence procedures, mergers, acquisitions, business purchase and business leasing transactions, joint ventures, private equity investments, restructuring, winding-up procedures, IPOs, shareholders’ agreements and corporate governance. He assists corporations operating in the energy sector and in the development of energy plants and storage and logistics. In particular, he has developed a significant experience in biofuels industry. He holds the position of non-executive director in various companies in the energy sector. Carlo Emanuele has a wealth of experience in franchise and distribution systems and has advised several international corporations in introducing and implementing distribution systems in Italy, as well as domestic companies in expanding their business worldwide, being recognized as a leading franchising lawyer by the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers. Carlo Emanuele is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and has written extensively on topics within his areas of practice. He is honorary member of CILS, the Center of International Legal Studies.
