Remo Klinger

Biography

Remo Klinger is one of the best-known lawyers in environmental law in Germany. His Berlin-based law firm mainly represents NGOs. Before the German Federal Constitutional Court, he represented two of the four successful climate constitutional appeals that have become internationally known as „Neubauer and others“. Since the Neubauer decision of the German Federal Constitutional Court, he has brought 22 other climate complaints. They are directed against the German federal government, German states and companies such as Mercedes or BMW. Remo Klinger is an honorary professor at the Brandenburg University of Sustainable Development and co-editor of the German Journal of Environmental Law.
