Joerg Kahler

Biography

Jörg Kahler is a German qualified lawyer and has been admitted to the Bar in 1999. He has been part of the law firm GSK Stockmann, one of Germany's leading independent commercial law firms, since 2001. As a partner of GSK Stockmann, Jörg heads the firm’s IP/ IT/ data protection practice group. His main area of practice is information technology law as well as data protection law. He has a wide range of experience in advising on innovative technology and digitalization projects and business ideas. He acts for well-known domestic and international clients, in particular in the automotive and aviation sector. Jörg is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and ITechLaw (International Technology Law Association). He regularly publishes and holds speeches concerning innovative and legal disruptive technology issues, like data economy, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving technology and new mobility concepts.
