Biography

Philipp is a German bar-certified specialist lawyer for copyright/media law as well as for IT law. He has considerable practical experience in the media and e-commerce sector, inter alia through various secondments. Philipp advises national and international technology and media companies on legal issues and questions relating to e-commerce, copyright, unfair competition, IT, distance selling and data protection law. A particular focus of his practice is on platform regulation, the drafting and negotiation of complex IP/IT agreements, advise on business models and marketing concepts under aspects of unfair competition, e-commerce, distance selling and data protection law, as well as representing his clients in respective disputes before the courts. Further, Philipp is lecturer for media law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich.
