Biography

Thierry regularly advises clients on a wide range of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, intra-group and start-up financing, investment and shareholder agreements, service and distribution agreements, licensing agreements, and corporate governance issues. His areas of activity include intellectual property and information technology law (LL.M. in IP). Thierry is the founder of the start-up GotCourts AG, which was sold to Playtomic S.L. in 2021, and co-head of the Startup Desk Team in Zurich. With this focus, he works with many of Switzerland’s most promising technology and life sciences start-ups in all phases of their growth from university spin-offs and initial seed rounds to growth financing rounds and exit transactions. Thierry also has extensive experience in advising VCs, strategic investors (including CVCs) and business angels as part of their engagement with Swiss start-ups. He is a regular speaker in his field and holds workshops for founders throughout Switzerland.
