Biography

Lisa has been a partner of Slaughter and May since 2006. She has extensive experience in M&A transactions, including Swire Beverages Holdings’ acquisition of the Coca-Cola bottling operations in Vietnam and Cambodia, the restructuring of Coca-Cola Bottlers Manufacturing Holdings in China, Chinachem Group’s JV with ESR Group for a sustainable cold storage facility, CK Asset Holdings’ disposal of its interests in a property project in Chengdu and COSCO SHIPPING Ports’ acquisitions of stakes in Terminales Portuarios Chancay in Peru, Noatum Port Holdings in Spain and Kumport Terminal in Turkey, and financing transactions, including Link REIT’s HK$12 billion sustainability-linked loan facility, being the largest of its kind in the real estate sector and among REITs in Asia to-date, and MTR Corporation’s US$1.2 billion green bond issue, being the largest green bond issue in Hong Kong to-date. She is based in Hong Kong and was the chief representative of Slaughter and May in Beijing from 2011 to 2015. Lisa is recommended in the 2023 Chambers Greater China for Corporate/M&A. She is also recognised as one of the Women Leaders in Hong Kong and ranked as a Highly Regarded Lawyer for Private Equity and for Banking by the 2022 IFLR1000 Asia-Pacific. She read law at Oxford University. She is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Hong Kong and provides legal services in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
