Biography

Previously counsel in the banking and finance department of an international law firm, Giuliana Durand subsequently worked as transaction manager and senior officer in the Italian branch of an investment bank active in the real estate market, assisting primarily on real estate financings, project finance (particularly in the energy sector) and acquisition and corporate finance. Her practice includes acquisitions and disposals of companies and business units, investments and joint ventures in the industrial (particularly food industry), real estate and energy sectors, assisting both on the corporate / M&A aspects, and on the transactions’ financial structure. She has developed significant experience also in debt restructurings, assisting corporates and financial institutions. Since 2018 she is a member of the board of directors of Beghelli S.p.A., a company operating in the field of security and electronics listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
