Biography

Dr. Xavier Favre-Bulle is a partner at Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva, where he heads the Arbitration group and the Sports law sector. He is also the President of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre and Co-Chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee (where he also leads the sports arbitration working group). He has some 30 years of experience in dispute resolution and has been involved in more than 260 arbitrations (several being before the CAS). He is a frequent speaker at conferences and the author of some 80 books and articles. He has lectured at several universities (Switzerland, France) on arbitration, contract law and sports law.
