Biography

Georgia Dawson is the Senior Partner of Freshfields. A specialist in complex investigations and disputes, she has worked on major cross-border matters involving issues such as financial crime, corruption and human rights across Europe, APAC, Africa and Central Asia. Before becoming Senior Partner in 2021, Georgia led the firm’s Asia business. She is widely recognised as one of the leading lawyers of her generation and has received numerous international awards for her work and leadership. A strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Georgia is passionate about supporting the next generation of talent in the legal profession. She studied law at the University of Sydney and completed a Masters in International Relations at Cambridge University as a Chevening Scholar.
