Biography

I am a Partner at Van Olmen & Wynant, specialising in employment law. My practice focuses in particular on cross-border employment matters, psychosocial risks (including harassment and violence at work), discrimination, and data protection issues related to the use of new technologies in the workplace. I advise on all aspects of individual employment law, including employment contracts, service agreements, dismissals and self-employment issues, as well as on collective labour law matters such as collective redundancies, transfers and closures of undertakings, collective actions, strikes and social security. I have extensive experience in litigation before labour courts, combined with a strong advisory practice. Through secondments with major corporate clients, I have developed a pragmatic, business-oriented approach and am recognised for my responsiveness and practical advice. I regularly speak at national and international conferences, including in-house seminars and events organised by the Belgian Institute of Company Lawyers and leading international organisations.
