Biography
Vittorio De Luca is a highly reputed employment lawyer and Managing Partner of De Luca & Partners, a leading Italian law firm founded more than 50 years ago and specialising in Employment Law and Privacy. He holds degrees in both Law and is admitted to the Italian Bar. He has also a Degree in Business Administration is qualified with Chartered Accountants and Legal Auditor, a multidisciplinary background that enables him to combine legal and corporate expertise in advising clients also on complex employment, restructuring and transactional matters. As Managing Partner, Vittorio De Luca contributes to the strategic leadership and development of the Firm and coordinates high-profile advisory and contentious mandates for Italian and international clients. He regularly advises companies, private equity companies, investment funds and business law firms on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional transactions, with particular focus on the employment, privacy and organisational implications of reorganisations, restructurings and corporate transactions. He serves as an advisory member of the Certification Commission of the Provincial Labour Directorate of Milan and is a member of AGI, EELA, ABA, IBA, IPBA and IEL. He is also a member of the Scientific Committee for Employment Litigation of Il Sole 24 Ore and of the Employment Law Commission of the Milan Association of Chartered Accountants. He previously served for more than a decade as a lecturer and academic collaborator at the Institute of Labour Law of the University of Milan. Vittorio De Luca actively collaborates with Il Sole 24 Ore and other leading specialist publications. He is the author of numerous publications and books on employment law and related legal topics, including Industrial Relations Law Across the World, Supervisor – I Professionisti dell’AI, Employment and Labour Laws and Regulations, and Corporate Immigration Laws and Regulations. He is frequently interviewed by the media as an employment law expert and is regularly invited to speak at seminars, conferences and international legal events, where he addresses employment law, industrial relations, privacy, reorganisations and the employment implications of corporate transactions.
