Edith Nordmann

Biography

Edith Nordmann is a Dutch attorney, mediator, and arbitrator specialised in corporate and commercial law, with expert qualification in employment law. Since 2017, she has served as Managing Partner of ACG International, a cross-border law firm based in Amsterdam. She holds an LL.M. from VU University Amsterdam and received an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy from Jharkhand Rai University for her contributions to law and social change. She is also a guest lecturer at Christ University (Bangalore) and has taught international law at the University of Bologna. Edith has represented the Netherlands at major international platforms, including the World Economic Forum in Davos (2024) and the B20/G20 task forces in India (2023) and Brazil (2024). Beyond her legal practice, she serves as Chair of the Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce & Trade (NICCT) and is Vice-President of the Swiss Dutch Business Council (SDBC). She also contributes to the cultural and healthcare sectors through various advisory and supervisory roles. Her honours include speaking engagements at global platforms, membership in international task forces, and awards for her leadership and contributions to trade relations, particularly between the Netherlands and India. Recognised as a role model in female leadership, Edith’s impact and legacy in law and social change continue to inspire across sectors and borders.
