Biography

Frédérique is Senior Counsel at Cohere, a leading developer of AI models and products designed for enterprise. She is a member of the AI Governance Advisory Board for the International Association of Privacy Professionals and an Advisory Board Member of the Future of Privacy Forum. Prior to Cohere, Frédérique led the privacy function at the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), protecting athlete privacy as a central tenet of the broader fight for clean sport, and practised privacy and data management law at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. She is a member of the Quebec Bar, holds a BCL/JD from McGill University and a BSocSc from the University of Ottawa, as well as the AIGP, CIPP/E, CIPT certifications.
