Alicia Adefarasin

Biography

Alicia Adefarasin is a Senior Associate at Dentons Nigeria and a member of the Firm's Corporate and Commercial practice. She advises local and international clients on employment, data protection, corporate regulatory compliance, and emerging technology regulation, including AI governance and evolving digital regulatory frameworks. Alicia works with startups, high-growth businesses, multinational corporations and investors operating in Nigeria, helping them navigate the country's legal and regulatory landscape. Her practice spans workforce strategy, employee relations, workplace investigations, executive exits, restrictive covenants, workplace governance and cross-border employment matters. She also advises on workplace privacy, employee data governance and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies. In the fintech and technology sectors, Alicia advises businesses on launching innovative products and services in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, supporting market entry, operational growth and expansion in Nigeria and across West Africa. In addition to her employment and technology practice, Alicia provides corporate and regulatory advisory support to businesses across a range of sectors, helping clients manage regulatory risk, achieve compliance and execute their strategic objectives.
