Pierre Hoffman

Biography

Father of two children, Pierre Hoffman has been President of the Paris Bar since January 2024. He became a lawyer in 2003 and is now partner within the Cabinet Hoffman, a law firm specialised in intellectual property (trademark protection, counterfeiting, etc.). Pierre Hoffman's commitment began when he joined « SOS collaborateurs », a unit set up by the « Union des Jeunes Avocats de Paris » (UJA) to support, advise and defend Associate Lawyers in the event of a dispute with their firm. In 2011, he then became Vice-Chairman of the UJA, the largest lawyers' union in France at the time. Former member of the Paris Bar Council (2016-2018), he first became Public Affairs Secretary in charge of lobbying, and then Secretary of disputes between Associate Lawyers and partners. Pierre Hoffman is also co-Chairman of the Paris Bar's Open Commission of Intellectual Property Law (COMPI).
