Biography

Luca is the Chairman and Founder of THE Insurance Academy (THEIA), a permanent forum based in Zurich that gathers all Swiss experts in Private Insurance. Based in Zurich, Luca, through his own consulting firm, works as an advisor for Leading Private Equity and Consulting Firms on projects in the Insurance and Wealth Management sectors. Luca has 30 years of experience in the Industrial and Financial Sector, beginning his career as a Financial Engineer in the Power Sector and later took responsibility for an International Project Financing team. Luca then joined part of an Investment Banking team in one of the largest European banks as Senior Vice President. Within his tenure with this bank, he became Head of Sales & Marketing in the alternative sector and covering, ad interim, the Swiss Market for the Asset Management Division. From the world of Investment Banking and Asset Management, Luca moved into insurance, spending more than 10 years, developing Italy, Central & Southern Europe, Switzerland and International Markets for a leading insurance provider in the HNWI market. Then he moved in one of the largest Global Broker holding the responsibility for the European insurance solutions for UHNWI/ HNWI clients. After Classical College, Luca graduated in Engineering and Management from the Polytechnic University of Milan and obtained Executive Master - Corporate Finance from SDA Bocconi.
