Biography

Rodrigo Hermida serves as the Vice President for the Legal Professionals segment across LatAm and the Tax & Accounting Professionals segment for South LatAm at Thomson Reuters. Since joining Thomson Reuters in 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer for South LatAm, Rodrigo has demonstrated exemplary leadership and strategic vision, culminating in his appointment to leading the business in 2018. He earned his Certified Public Accountant degree from the University of Buenos Aires and holds an MBA from the University of CEMA. Additionally, he specialized in Business Innovation at the University of San Andrés, reflecting his commitment to driving forward-thinking solutions in the corporate and professional landscape. With over two decades of experience in leadership roles, Rodrigo has held prominent positions such as Director Finance & Operations, CFO and General Manager both in Argentina and internationally. His career includes significant tenures at renowned companies such as Mercedes-Benz and Zurich Insurance Company. In addition to his role at Thomson Reuters, Rodrigo has been a valuable member of the Board of Directors of CanCham Argentina since 2019, contributing to the strengthening of business relations between Canada and Argentina.
