Biography

Akanksha Gupta is Google's Global Immigration Counsel, and part of their in house Employment-Legal team. Akanksha has over 12 years of experience providing strategic legal advice on complex immigration issues and policies for multinational companies. In her current role, she gets energized by the hard problems that face a company with such a huge global footprint. Her work with Google's public policy and regulatory teams has been instrumental in cementing Google's role as a leading advocate for humane and innovative immigration policies. As an immigrant to the US herself, she believes that compassion is integral to her role to better understand the unique challenges that face an immigrant workforce.
