Eeva Kantanen is the Chief Legal & People Officer at Hydro Rein, a global provider of renewable energy solutions for industrials. As part of the management team, Eeva is responsible for legal, compliance, governance, and people. She is committed to ensuring that Hydro Rein’s organization, services, and processes enable the global team to deliver on the group’s business targets in an efficient and compliant manner. Eeva’s passion for people and culture is evident in her focus on attracting and retaining a right-sized, high-performing organization and driving culture to support Hydro Rein’s mission and values. With over 20 years of experience in the renewables industry, Eeva has in-depth legal and business experience. She is a commercial lawyer by background and has worked in various positions within the renewables industry, including 9 years of previous working experience from the Norsk Hydro ASA group in positions within legal and business development. Eeva is also an organizational developer on a mission to work with people to ensure structures and processes that make doing business the right way easy and effective. She strongly believes that ensuring a fit-for-purpose and successful people agenda is a key fundament for long-term value creation in the company.
