Biography

Sofia Egídio is Partner and General Counsel at Indico Capital Partners, Portugal’s leading independent venture capital firm. She has over 25 years of experience in legal and investment matters, having worked both in top-tier private practice – at Linklaters – and in C-level in-house roles across the public and private sectors. In the public sector, she served as Chief Legal Officer, Board Advisor, and Fund Board Member at an entity integrated into the National Investment Bank. In the private sector, she led the Investment Advisory Legal Unit at Fidelidade, Portugal’s largest insurance group. Her career has been focused on complex legal, regulatory, and transactional issues, particularly within the financial and investment sectors.
