Biography

Driven by Purpose Since 1996, as a solo sailor, Ricardo has been developing Missions & Expeditions to promote Sustainability and the Oceans around the world, working closely with schools, universities and governments. He has sailed the equivalent of four times around the world. His stories of courage and adventure are truly inspiring, shared as passionate keynotes on stages worldwide. His guiding vision has always been to empower people, a mission he describes as “Cultivating Human Potential.” A proud Father and Grandfather, Ricardo is also an actor, movie maker, executive coach and author. He is about to launch a very special movie, written and acted by teenagers - about teenage suicide.
