Biography

I qualified as a doctor in 1998. After postgraduate training in psychiatry and completing a research degree, I was appointed consultant psychiatrist in 2013. I work as a consultant old age psychiatrist at East London NHS foundation trust and with Halcyon doctors. I specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders including dementia, depression and delirium. I have extensive experience in assessing mental capacity. I am special visitor for Court of Protection since August 2024 and specialise in retrospective capacity assessment.
