Nik Yeo

Biography

Nik is a barrister at Fountain Court Chambers in London, who is ranked in Band 1 for crypto disputes in both main Directories. He has litigated multiple crypto disputes in the London courts, the Singapore International Commercial Court and in arbitrations, as well as continuing to advise the liquidators of the bankrupt FTX crypto exchange in Delaware proceedings. He has also acted as arbitrator in crypto disputes. Nik came to fintech litigation with a background in complex financial structures litigation (including representing Lehman Bros Inc in English proceedings, and acting for the HM Treasury in the UK in finalising the almost £1/2 trillion bank bailout scheme in the global financial crisis) and in tech (esp IT) litigation. Prior to coming to the Bar, Nik practised as a transactional finance solicitor with Slaughter and May in London. He has also lectured in law at Wadham College, Oxford, and Melbourne University Law School.
