Biography
Tuuli is a partner and head of dispute resolution department at Dottir Attorneys Ltd, in Helsinki (Finland), where she concentrates on cross-border arbitration and other forms of cross-border ADR proceedings. Tuuli’s industry focus is on technology and energy disputes.
In addition to successfully representing parties in contentious proceedings, Tuuli has extensive experience assisting companies in developing conflict management strategies – from the early stages of a dispute through to its resolution. Tuuli also regularly sits as arbitrator in commercial arbitrations, both national and international.
Tuuli is a court member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and a former long-standing member of the board of the Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce. She is also an Officer of the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association.
Prior to joining Dottir in 2024, Tuuli worked in the international arbitration department of White & Case in Paris, Helsinki and New York. Tuuli has also worked as the director of licensing disputes at Nokia Technologies, where she managed global disputes and contentious licensing deals arising out of the licensing of a global patent portfolio. Tuuli has authored several publications on the topics of dispute resolution and governing law and is a regular speaker on these topics.
