Biography

Augusto P. Aragone - Executive Vice President, Secretary & General Counsel Augusto Aragone serves as Executive Vice President, Secretary & General Counsel of Ingram Micro (NYSE: INGM), a Fortune 100 global technology distributor with approximately $50 billion in annual revenue and operations in more than 60 countries. In this role, he is the company’s principal legal and governance advisor, supporting the Board of Directors and executive leadership on public‑company governance, capital markets, enterprise risk, and strategic transactions. Since assuming his current role in 2016, Mr. Aragone has played a central role in multiple transformational events, including Ingram Micro’s successful return to the public markets through an initial public offering in October 2024, the $3 billion divestiture of the company’s global logistics business to CMA‑CGM, and prior ownership transitions involving both strategic and private equity sponsors. Mr. Aragone has significant experience in national‑security and regulatory matters, having served as Ingram Micro’s primary point of contact with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) during the company’s period of foreign ownership. In this capacity, he led ongoing regulatory engagement, compliance obligations, and mitigation‑related governance. In addition to transactional and governance leadership, Mr. Aragone oversees global legal, ethical compliance, regulatory, and security functions and has led enterprise‑wide initiatives to strengthen operational resilience and risk management. Mr. Aragone has also championed innovation and data‑driven decision‑making across the legal function and the enterprise, leading the deployment of AI‑powered contract review and drafting tools and legal spend analytics platforms to enhance efficiency, transparency, and governance. He joined Ingram Micro in 2008 and has held a series of increasingly senior legal leadership roles supporting global operations, mergers and acquisitions, and finance transactions. Prior to Ingram Micro, Mr. Aragone served as Legal Director for Latin America at DHL, following earlier business roles in the international logistics industry. Mr. Aragone holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Universidad de la República in Uruguay, a master’s degree from the University of Bologna in Italy, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Miami School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
