Biography

Ignacio Obando is a Chilean lawyer specializing in privacy, non for profit organizations, and human rights, with more than 12 years of experience across Latin America and Canada. He has led international projects, advised nonprofit organizations and companies on data protection, intellectual property, and corporate sustainability, always with an ethical and strategic approach. He is currently Co-Coordinator of the Pro Bono Network of the Americas, where he oversees and leads international projects. His career combines legal practice with university teaching and the publication of research on technology and regulation. Recognized for his collaborative leadership, strategic thinking, and professional integrity, he brings a global perspective and a strong commitment to social impact.
