Biography

Prakash Mehta has spent more than two decades at Akin shaping the firm’s global funds practice and international expansion. He led the growth of the funds group from under 10 to more than 100 lawyers and launched Akin’s sovereign wealth practice, advising major Middle Eastern and Asian sovereign investors and the governments behind them. As a key leader in Akin’s capital solutions initiative, Prakash creates highly customized hybrid and evergreen fund structures that have helped define the rise of private credit and permanent capital.
