Kathryn Weaver
Biography
Kathryn Weaver is Co-Managing Partner of the Hong Kong office and heads up the Asia Pacific employment practice at Seyfarth Shaw, an AmLaw100 labour and employment-focused international law firm. She is dual-qualified (Hong Kong and England & Wales) and has extensive experience of advising multi-national employers in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions on international employment law matters. Her work spans both contentious and non-contentious matters, and includes complex investigations, cross-border restructuring, challenging exits, negotiated settlements, global mobility, data privacy and workplace training. She is highly regarded in the legal directories and regularly called on to speak at legal and HR conferences in the region on topical employment law matters, including diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. In her spare time, Kathryn sits on the Boards of the British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham), Help for Domestic Workers and Hong Kong Legal Walk Limited. She is also the Vice-Chair of the Women in Business Committee of BritCham and a mother of a 5-year old and 7-year old.
