Biography

Richard Harris is Chief Legal Officer at Robert Walters Plc, a UK-listed international talent solutions business operating across 30+ countries. Previously Assistant General Counsel at PartyGaming (now Entain), Legal Counsel at Tiscali UK (now TalkTalk), and City solicitor at Bird & Bird, Richard brings two decades of multi-jurisdictional legal leadership across technology, gaming, telecoms, and professional services. With expertise spanning employment law, commercial, corporate, and workplace investigations across multiple jurisdictions, he has transformed legal operations, pioneered responsible AI frameworks, and leads through major regulatory change including the Employment Rights Act and EU AI Act. Named in The Lawyer Hot 100 2026 and winner of APSCo Individual Contributor of the Year 2025, Richard is Chair (Elect) of Waltham Forest College.
