Biography
Alina Kociecka is a Polish-qualified lawyer with 16 years of progressive legal experience in Employment & Labor law, including 7 years in private practice and 9 years as in-house counsel at Amazon. She has proven expertise in managing complex, multi-jurisdictional projects across Central and Eastern Europe, with demonstrated ability to deliver results in high-pressure environments and under demanding deadlines. Her core competencies include cross-functional collaboration within matrixed organizations, solution-oriented problem-solving, and rapid adaptation to evolving business needs. She is skilled in leading teams, managing external counsel, and developing scalable legal strategies that align with organizational objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Alina is a graduate of the Akademia Przywództwa Kobiet (Women's Leadership Academy) at Kozminski University, a prestigious postgraduate program dedicated to developing female leaders. She serves as a mentor in the Women in Law Foundation, supporting the next generation of women legal professionals. As an accomplished public speaker, she has presented at prominent industry events and has been shortlisted for the Employment & Labor Individual Award at the Lexology European Awards 2026.
