Biography

Michael Stanton is a Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel at iCapital, where he leads Private Funds Legal and is responsible for overseeing the structuring, legal, and regulatory framework for iCapital's investment funds and alternative investment platform. Based in New York, Michael advises on complex global fund distribution strategies, including the use of feeder and access structures to facilitate cross-border investment into private markets.
