Imran Razvi

Biography

Imran Razvi is Senior Policy Adviser, Pensions & Institutional Market at the Investment Association (IA), where he leads the IA's policy work on pensions and retirement, covering a range of topics in institutional investment management as well as the role of institutional investors in the UK financial system and economy. In recent years Imran has led on the IA's work to develop the UK's Long-Term Asset Fund (LTAF) regime and its operational implementation in the UK Defined Contribution pensions and retail markets as part of efforts to broaden investor access to private markets. Imran has been a member of several industry and Government/regulatory groups including: the FCA/Bank of England Productive Finance Working Group; the European Fund & Asset Management Association Pensions Standing Committee; and the International Investment Funds Association Pensions Committee. Prior to the Investment Association, Imran began his career as an Economist at the Department for Work and Pensions before working as a senior policymaker on pensions reform at the Department.
