Biography

Paul Fattinger is a Vienna-based operator and investor with two decades of experience scaling and transforming businesses. As CEO and previously CFO of woom (2021–2024), he led the international children's bicycle company from start-up to scale-up under a mixed founder and private equity ownership structure, closing more than €120m of equity and debt funding along the way. Most recently, he served as interim Managing Director Austria of Cloudflight, an European software engineering firm owned by Swiss private equity firm Partners Group. Today, Paul invests and works through his own holding, 4L Venture, and serves on several boards in an advisory capacity. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Partner at BDO Austria, where he built and led the management consulting practice and advised numerous family-owned businesses on strategy and organization, and Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA from ESADE Business School.
