Biography

Raimund is an international finance executive with more than 12 years of experience in the wood processing, packaging, and manufacturing industries. Raimund held various finance and leadership positions within the Mayr-Melnhof Group across Austria, Germany, France, Vietnam, and Colombia, with a particular focus on controlling, post-merger integration, operational finance, and corporate development. Currently serving as Deputy CFO of HS Timber Group, Raimund is responsible for group-wide M&A activities, corporate strategy, international investment management, and cross-border expansion projects, including major greenfield and forestry investments in Argentina. In addition, he has overseen multiple international acquisitions and divestitures and held board-level responsibilities in industrial and renewable energy businesses. Raimund holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economic and Social Sciences from WU Vienna and a Master’s degree with distinction in International Business & Emerging Markets from the University of Edinburgh Business School.
