Biography

Pierre Petit-De Pasquale is Standards Director at Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA). Pierre has worked on mining issues for almost 15 years, first as a mining engineer then as a specialist in responsible mining standards and methodologies. He has worked for the private sector, independent research organizations, think tanks and NGOs, and has led strategic engagement and collaboration with mining companies, investors, communities, workers and unions, governments and other mining-relevant stakeholders. Pierre studied at ICAM Lille, the University of Manchester, and CNAM Paris, and holds an MSc. in Engineering.
