Biography

Camila Marchant is Head of Legal for AstraZeneca in Brazil, where she leads the legal function and serves as a strategic partner to the business across a wide range of complex and high-impact matters. With robust experience in the pharmaceutical industry, she has held both local and regional roles across Latin America, following an early career in private practice at leading Brazilian law firms advising on corporate, regulatory, commercial and competition matters. In her current role, Camila works closely with senior leadership on key strategic initiatives, including reimbursement strategies, product launches, public-private partnerships, local strategic alliances, litigation and IP issues, while navigating a highly regulated and dynamic environment. She is also passionate about developing talent and actively mentors and supports the advancement of women’s careers, contributing to the promotion of more inclusive and diverse leadership within the industry.
