Biography

Dr. Shashwat Bajpai is a lawyer hailing from New Delhi, India, and the founding partner of DRSB Law Chambers. He has completed his Master's degree, BCL, from the University of Oxford, UK, and also holds a Ph.D. degree from the National Law University, Delhi (NLUD). He is FCIArb, a Fellow with the CIArb (UK), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK and is on the Core Committee of the YMG Young Member’s Group, CIArb, India. He is also the current ICC YAAF Representative for South Asia region. He has been part of several Arbitrations and Litigations and argues regularly before the Arbitral Tribunals & Delhi High Court on commercial disputes. He is currently on the Arbitrator panel of Delhi International Arbitration Centre; and has presided over multiple Arbitrations as the Sole Arbitrator under the administration of DIAC as well as Delhi High Court appointments. He is on the panel of PSUs, Oil & Gas Corporations & Construction Companies representing them in their claims before the Courts and in Arbitrations. He has several reported judgments to his name and speaks on various topics at seminars & training workshops and addresses several public forums.
