Biography

Admitted to the Dutch Bar in 1991. Co-Head of Addleshaw Goddard's (AG) Netherlands office. He is Special Projects Officer to the IBA’s Asset Recovery Committee. Co-Head of AG's Restructuring & Insolvency practice group in the Netherlands. Head of AG's Cross-border Asset Recovery team in the Netherlands. He has been involved as bankruptcy trustee or advisor in several high-profile and complex insolvencies and restructurings. He has extensive experience with Dutch WHOA schemes (both as counsel to the company/debtor and as court-appointed officer). Next to this he is the (former) chair of the asset recovery chamber of the Institute for Financial Crime (IFFC) in the Netherlands.
