Zoe Huang
Biography
Zoe Huang is an attorney-at-law at the Environmental Rights Foundation. She serves as a Committee Member on the Human Rights Committee and the Energy Law Committee of the Taipei Bar Association and as Deputy Chairperson of the Environmental Law Committee of the Taiwan Bar Association. As an environmental lawyer, she has been working on issues related to climate change, renewable energy, Indigenous People’s rights, and environmental litigation since 2018. In 2024, she assisted Indigenous peoples, farmers, fishers, and children in filing a constitutional climate lawsuit challenging Taiwan’s national emissions reduction targets. In 2025, she helped file a lawsuit against Taiwan’s largest LNG project, which has a capacity of 8,100 MW.
