Biography

Douglas Cox is the Director of African Project Development at Renewvia Energy, overseeing the design, construction, and operation of solar and wind microgrids in Kenya and Nigeria. Renewvia is currently operating 9 microgrids with over 1500 connections, and this year is looking to significantly expand in those markets and begin operations in strategic new ones. Before working at Renewvia, Douglas worked on solar water pumping in Nepal and electric powertrains in the U.S.
