Biography

The managing partner and founder, Fuzet Farid, lends 20+ years of her experience in Malaysian legal practice to the Firm. Fuzet graduated from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, Downing College, in the Law Tripos. She was called to the Bar of England & Wales at Middle Temple Inn, the Malaysian Bar and the Singapore Bar. ​ She has also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Carriage of Goods By Sea, Admiralty and International Trade from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. ​ She has advised the Malaysian government in various capacities including as maritime law consultant on the National Ocean Policy, and the drafting of a new Civil Aviation Bill under the Chicago Convention on aircraft domestic registration. Fuzet is assisted by her associates. Fuzet has been named by Asia Law & Practice as “one of the most highly acclaimed legal experts in the Asia Pacific region” 2008 & 2009 shipping, maritime & aviation, and by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 as a “leading individual in Malaysian shipping law” since 2003.
