Biography

Admitted to the Dutch bar in 1991. Committee Liaison Officer to the Asset Recovery Committee of the IBA. Head of Florent’s Restructuring & Insolvency practice group and founding partner of the firm. Also a specialist in the field of International Asset Tracing & Recovery. He has been involved as bankruptcy trustee or advisor in various high-profile and complex insolvencies and restructurings. He has significant experience with Dutch WHOA schemes (both as counsel to the company/debtor and as court-appointed officer). Next to this he is co-chair of the asset recovery chamber of the Institute for Financial Crime (IFFC) in the Netherlands.
