Martina Vandenberg
Biography
Martina Vandenberg is the founder and president of the Human Trafficking Pro Bono Legal Center, a non-governmental organization based in Washington, DC. Before founding the organization, Vandenberg was a partner at the firm of Jenner & Block, where she focused on complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, FCPA enforcement issues, and pro bono human trafficking litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Vandenberg investigated war crimes and human rights violations as a researcher for Human Rights Watch. She conducted investigations in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Uzbekistan, and the Russian Federation. Vandenberg co-chaired the International Bar Association's Presidential Task Force Against Human Trafficking.
