Biography

Roberto Hernández García is an International Construction Lawyer. Roberto Hernández García is an international lawyer specialising in the construction sector. Currently, he holds the position of managing partner at COMAD, S.C., and is also the CEO of COMAD LATAM, legal and consulting firms respectively, specialized in engineering and construction. Certifications and Specializations He is certified by examination by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) as a dispute board, trainer and project contracting specialist. International Experience He has worked in eleven countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, performing various capacities such as consulting, training, arbitration and dispute boarding. His expertise in these sectors has led him to be a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank on projects in the region. Publications He has made significant contributions to the technical and academic literature. He is the sole author of four books that address issues of construction and dispute resolution. In addition, he has co-authored and edited five additional works on the subject. Teaching and Conferences He is a permanent professor at the Universidad Panamericana and at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in Lima, Peru. He has been a visiting professor at prestigious universities such as Cambridge, England; Miami, Florida; Osgoode, Canada, and American University, among others.
