Natasa Mavronicola
Biography
Dr Mavronicola is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Birmingham. She researches and teaches on human rights, public law, and legal theory, including the interplay between counter-terrorism and human rights. She has published in a number of journals, including the Human Rights Law Review and the Modern Law Review. Dr Mavronicola currently serves as Special Adviser to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture, Professor Nils Melzer.
