George Waggott
Biography
George is a Canadian lawyer who has previously practised in Vancouver, BC and London, England. He is now based in Toronto. Many know George from a 1998 news story headlined “Lawyer Lose to Bear” after he survived a grizzly attack in Banff National Park in Alberta. His clients include global technology companies, one of Canada’s leading casino operators, a major US-based insurance company, a well-known charity, the government of two Latin American countries, and Ontario’s largest treatment centre for children with autism. George has coached kid’s soccer for many years, and he is passionate Newcastle United supporter. After 24 years of working in Big Law, George opened his own firm in 2018. He speaks English, French and Spanish.
