Elena Ryolo

Biography

Elena has 20 years of experience in employment matters in a variety of industries and her key expertise includes restructuring and personnel downsizing processes, from Trade Union consultations to the use of State welfare, redundancy and unemployment programs. She also regularly assists companies in complex labour and industrial relations issues, often in the context of cross-border corporate transactions, transfers of business, mergers, spin-offs and outsourcing processes. Elena regularly deals with the employment and corporate processes aimed at the appointment of, and separation from, senior executives and Board members (including in public companies and regulated sectors) ? and - if needed – defends Clients in related litigation contexts. She is often involved in transnational work and has developed consolidated expertise in working in partnership with firms of different jurisdictions, both as coordinator and member of multi-jurisdiction teams created for specific projects.
