Lara Vivas Sanz

Biography

Lara Vivas is a partner at Cuatrecasas in the Labor and Employment law department. She specializes in internal investigations and employment compliance issues. She also has a strong labor negotiation practice and looks for innovative solutions to traditional and new challenges. She carries out collective-bargaining negotiations, including negotiating collective-bargaining agreements and mediating in collective disputes and strikes. She advises multinationals in strategic and on-going legal matters, and includes an economic analysis of the law perspective to her advice. She represents companies in proceedings in first- and second-instance courts in Spain. Lara is a collaborating lecturer at ESADE Law School, and at Universitat Abat Oliva, and she has been a collaborating lecturer at the Université de Montpellier, and an adjunct lecturer at the Escuela Superior de Comercio Internacional. She is the author of several articles in newspapers and journals specializing in Spanish labor law. She graduated in Law and in Business, and she obtained a Fulbright scholarship to complete her postgraduate studies at the University of Chicago Law School. She is passionate about cooking, sports, and new technologies. She is fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, and French.
