Biography

Claudio Tesauro is a partner and head of the antitrust practice at BonelliErede. He is one of Italy’s leading experts in EU law and competition, particularly regarding telecommunications and media, energy and gas, transport and financial services, insurance and postal services. Claudio represents clients in administrative proceedings (before the ICA and the European Commission), and in courts (Regional Administrative Courts, the Council of State, the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice). With reference to these markets, Claudio has also worked on the transposition into Italian law of the EU Directives on liberalisation and problems related to the opening of these markets to competition.
