Biography

Career Mr. Fischer is dual qualified, admitted to the bar in Germany and Spain. He specializes in German-Spanish crossborder transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and company law. He is head of Cuatrecasas’ German Desk, comprising 45 Spanish, Portuguese, and German lawyers from all practice groups and based in nine offices. The German Desk specializes in advising groups of companies from German-speaking countries on investing and engaging in business activities on the Iberian Peninsula. Recommended by several directories, including Chambers Global, Latin Lawyer, Media Law International and Best Lawyers in Corporate and M&A (Spain and Germany). In 2011, Mr. Fischer received the '40 under 40' award, which the prestigious publication Iberian Lawyer Review grants to the top 40 lawyers under 40 years of age on the Iberian Peninsula.
